DONATIONS
Onemda funding is provided by various State Government sources, including The Department of Human Services and Adult Community and Further Education. This funding is supplemented by grants from local government, donations, philanthropic support and other service generated income.
Onemda actively seeks philanthropic and community support through submissions, donations, corporate partnerships and in-kind support. You may wish to consider a bequest directly to Onemda or to the Onemda Charity Support Account (Onemda Trust) in your will.
All donations of $2.00 and over made to The Onemda Association, Inc. are tax deductible. Onemda is recognised by the Australian Tax Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient and is an Income Tax Exempt Charity.
Donations to Onemda directly assist our participants by providing improved facilities and resources to ensure that Onemda continues to provide high quality services.
Onemda established The Onemda Charity Support Account (Formerly Onemda Trust) in 2004. The Onemda Charity Support Account creates a perpetual income stream to ensure the needs of people using Onemda’s services are met now and in the future. The Charity Support Account is managed by the Greater Melbourne Foundation of the Lord Mayors Charitable Fund. Income from the Charity Support Account is available for Onemda to use, as required.
The Onemda Charity Support Account provides an opportunity for you to make tax deductible contributions to the Charity Support Account, enabling it to grow and generate an ongoing income stream. The Onemda Charity Support Account is an ideal opportunity for a special donation or you may wish to consider the Onemda Charity Support Account for a bequest.
