Onemda Disability Services Celebrate the Opening of Westmeadows Campus

Today marks a significant milestone as Onemda officially opens its Westmeadows Campus, a new purpose-built facility that provides comprehensive, accessible, and life-changing intellectual disability services. The campus, designed with a strong focus on creating a nurturing environment for participants and employees, enables those attending to flourish within its biophilic-designed spaces.

The demand for intellectual disability services is at an all-time high, and Onemda’s expansion into Westmeadows comes at a crucial time. The official opening was celebrated by Simon Lewis, CEO of Onemda, and Deputy Mayor Karen Sherry, alongside guests and the local community.

Simon Lewis expressed his pride in the new campus, stating, "Onemda is proud to continue our longstanding legacy by providing a safe place where disability services are delivered through person-centred care. Through this development, Onemda has created a campus that inspires confidence, trust, and promotes wellbeing and growth through excellent support services."

He added, "This campus we are showcasing today has been developed to support people with intellectual disability to grow in a safe environment and connect to local community."

The Westmeadows Campus is now open and ready to provide services to participants, their families, and carers.
