Wildlife of Wonder at the Melbourne Zoo!

Recently, participants and staff from Onemda’s Glenroy Living, Learning & Social Skills (LLS) Program and the Westmeadows campus embarked on an exciting day out at the Melbourne Zoo.

The day began with high energy as our Onemda buses arrived bright and early, carrying eager participants ready to explore the wonders of the animal kingdom.

The visit was thoughtfully planned by staff the day prior to ensure participants could make the most of their time at the zoo. While the zoo’s expansive grounds and varying walking speeds meant not everything was on offer in limited time, the participants were thrilled to encounter a variety of animals up close. From the playful antics of the meerkats to the majestic stride of the giraffes, every moment sparked curiosity and joy.
