Our History

Onemda was established in 1969 by a small, but committed group of parents and local community members.

Onemda operated out of the Donvale Sports Pavilion with volunteer support until moving into its current location in Doncaster East in 1977.

Onemda continues to provide a wide range of individually tailored group activities on campus and in a variety of community venues and has a number of specialised programs and supports, with an emphasis on individual needs and interests, developing skills and enhancing life opportunities.

We offer support through education and training, social and personal development, experiences in the arts, allied health/therapeutic support and sporting and recreational activities. These programs are designed for the unique learning and therapeutic needs of adults with a disability that we support.
