Staying COVID Safe

Staying safe during unprecedented times

At Onemda our priority is the health and safety of our participants, staff, families and careres. As an essential servicewe continue to operate our group learning and support services in a modified format, in line with all government guidelines.   

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 we have worked rigorously to implement strict operating procedures and hygiene practices to deliver our services safely. This includes:

  • Wearing of face masks and eye protection for staff
  • Participant education on mask wearing, hygiene and social distancing
  • Strict hygiene practices
  • Regular cleaning of high touch surfaces
  • Access to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Hand sanitising stations
  • Mandatory temperature checks on arrival for all participants and staff
  • Daily health screening
  • The development of ‘pods’ for service delivery, which remain completely separate from each other
  • Adhering to social distancing requirements
  • Dedicated areas for isolation should participants become unwell during the day
  • Continuing to explore additional operating spaces to allow us to accommodate DHHS maximum group numbers
